We want to make returns as easy as possible!

Returns are accepted up to 30 days. 

Step 1: Determine the reason for return and the outcome you would like to see. 

A. I think the item is defective, please test and follow up with me 
B. I would like to exchange or have store credit for another item, please follow up with me ( I am responsible for return shipping costs).
C. The item is no longer needed or wanted. If there's a restocking fee I am ok with it ( I am responsible for return shipping costs).
D. It's another reason that I've already contacted ZWaveOutlet about and know how my return is going to be handled.

Email returns@zwaveoutlet.com order number and reason.

Step 2: Process your return and get yourself a return shipping label. >>Click Here<<

Once you process your return you will be able to print out a UPS label. Please package your item properly to prevent damage from shipping. Stick label on box and drop off package with UPS or you can >>Schedule a Pick Up<< ***If you are responsible for return shipping costs and we provided a label this cost will be deducted from your refund. Please note our return shipping rates are discounted business rates. You can also use a trackable shipping service of your choice. 

Step 3: Wait until package gets back to us. 

Once received we test and inspect all items. Please allow 2-3 business days to process a refund or follow up with you.

How do you process returns? 

Items returned within 30 days of receiving them and in brand new condition will receive a full refund. 

Items returned that are no longer needed or wanted and are received in open condition  will be tested and assessed up to a 20% restocking fee. 

Shipping fees are non refundable. 

How about Open Box items I purchased?

If you purchased an open box item and would like to return, please make sure the item is returned in the same manner that you received it for full refund. 

Shipping fees are non refundable. 

How do you process Defective Items? 

Items that are thought to be defective will need to be diagnosed by one of our techs once received. We encourage you to reach out to our tech support before returning to make sure an item is in fact defective. Items that are found defective will be repaired or replaced following the manufacture warranty (if after 30 days of purchase shipping fees may be incurred and billed). If item tests 100% functional on return you can either choose to have a restocking fee or have the item shipped back to you. 

You guys screwed up, I want my stuff!

Human mistakes happen and we do everything in our power to prevent this. If you ever receive the wrong items please reach out to us at support@zwaveoutlet.com or call us at 619-632-5254 and we will correct it right away!

How do you handle close out and liquidated items? 

Close out and liquidated items will be labeled on the item page. These items qualify for our 30 day return policy. After 30 days there isn't any manufacture warranty on these items.
